At Mindful Mini, we believe that mindfulness can begin as early as a child’s first deep breath—and that the tools to nurture calm and confidence don’t need to be complicated. Sometimes, all it takes is a cozy corner, a soft belly, and a teddy bear.
In our newest podcast meditation, “The Teddy Bear Breaths,” we invite young listeners on a gentle journey into the world of mindful breathing—made magical through the presence of a beloved stuffed friend.
🌟 How It Works
Children are invited to lie down in a comfortable space and place their teddy bear (or favorite stuffed animal) on their belly. As they begin to breathe slowly and deeply, they’ll notice their teddy gently rising and falling with each breath—turning a simple inhale and exhale into a playful, visual, and deeply soothing experience.
